At this very moment
With each passing day,
it seems to fade.
But yet...as the sun rises,
My stomach plummets.
I am yet to reach my goal
to fully recover from this god-awful toll.
But it seems, that time is still against me.
And...so
I lie in wait for the day i may take
to step up
and be owned no more
by my stomach
or more........
